SELF CONFIDENCE Can Hypnosis increase self confidence? Can low self
esteem be helped through hypnotherapy? The answer lies in how our minds work. The conscious mind can only keep track of so
much, so it's left to our unconscious mind to create and maintain things such as our self image. In order to produce a self-image
our minds refer back to past incidents or create possible future scenarios and then produce feelings related to those imaginations
or memories. Often this activity is out of our conscious awareness, we only know that we have a good or bad feeling. Each
of us has memories or can imagine things which affect us in a positive emotional way or a negative emotional way. Sometimes
the negative emotions play an important role. If you accidentally placed your hand on a hot burner, you wouldn't want to have
to think about it - you want your unconscious mind to move that hand immediately! Lack of self-confidence is created by us
constantly remembering or imagining negative situations and getting bad feelings as a result. Since these thoughts are often
out of consciousness and "automatic" to a certain extent, it's difficult to retrain yourself. Affirmations are a
way to retrain your unconscious mind. If you repeat an affirmation enough times, with your conscious mind, with the proper

is it really? We believe motivation is when your mind is fully aligned and congruent about accomplishing something. When your
mind is, at all levels, motivated - you just do it! There's no thinking about it, putting it off, making excuses or "waiting

EXERCISE Have you ever made up your mind to exercise
regularly and then lost your motivation? How is it that a person can consciously decide to do something and then not follow
through? The answer is that some part of you is in opposition to your exercising. If you fully and congruently wanted to exercise
you would experience what we call motivation. Many times, the part of you that doesn't want to exercise does not operate at
the conscious level. The unconscious mind, being more powerful, usually wins out in the end. No amount of berating yourself
or making promises to yourself will help. Hypnosis can help to align all parts of your mind toward the goal of exercising

LOSE WEIGHT Lose
weight, reduce, diet - it goes by many names. For some dieting and exercise come naturally. Others try the chemical methods
- drugs. Sometimes they work, often they don't. Have you ever wondered why? Let's look closely at the reasons people are overweight.
For some people overeating just a simple habit. Hypnosis has long been known as an effective way to change habits. Dieting
and exercise are a part of any health regimen but they don't address the habit issue. Drugs suppress habit impulses chemically
(that includes herbal drugs folks) but don't get to the root of the problem - habit. For others, eating has a deep emotional
significance or serves some need - usually a feeling of safety or comfort. Is diet, exercise or chemical intervention going
to satisfy that need? No. The unconscious, deep-seated needs will continue to express themselves through overeating until
they are resolved. Weight loss will not be possible long-term until you can do this. This is why so many people lose weight
for a while - then gain it back. Hypnotherapy is extremely valuable in finding permanent and more healthy ways to get those
feelings of comfort. Other folks have trauma in their past. Sometimes, the unconscious mind believes that having a layer of
fat is the only way to keep a person safe. In these cases, when someone loses weight they will become increasingly edgy and
possibly begin to experience anxiety or panic until they begin to regain the weight. Will diets and exercise alone solve this
problem? Will taking drugs and chemicals help resolve these past issues? No. Hypnosis can help resolve past issues by re-processing

STOP SMOKING Stop smoking, quit smoking, smoking cessation - it's
called a variety of things but the idea is the same. For your health and for the health of those around you stopping smoking
can be the critical factor. We've found that people smoke because, in their mind smoking has become tied to something important.
Smoking represents freedom to some and rebellion to others, it's a James Dean image to some and it helps others relax or gain
perspective. Together, we find the reasons you smoke and find better ways to accomplish those things. We've found that when
these needs are addressed ahead of time, and more healthy & conscious means are found to satisfy them, the desire to smoke
drops dramatically. Exploring "smoking triggers" is another facet of our approach. Do you smoke after you eat, when
you're on the phone, before bed, while you're driving? We, together, find all the examples of the time you know "it's
time to smoke." Blowing out those triggers takes smoking out of the "I just found myself with a cigarette in my

STUTTERING Stuttering, in our experience, can be helped with hypnotherapy. Stuttering often occurs as a result of
